LS Eco Energy (CEO: Lee Sang-ho) will supply a large-scale power distribution system to the Internet data center (IDC) of a Vietnamese state-owned Internet company.

LS Eco Energy announced on the 18th that it will supply bus ducts to the IDC of Viettelnet through its Vietnamese production corporation LSCV.

The products will be supplied to a large-scale IDC that is being constructed by Viettelnet in Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park near Hanoi.

“Through the application of bus ducts to IDCs, power consumption can be reduced by at least 30% in comparison to electric cables,” explained the Company. “We will actively expand the market with our bus duct solution specialized to IDCs.”

Bus ducts are value-added products that supply power through a plate conductor inserted in a metallic case. They are a substitute for electric cables for large-scale power supply to plants, buildings and apartment complexes.

“With the enforcement of the Cybersecurity Law in Vietnam, global IT companies are now storing their key data there,” said a Company insider. “The IDC market is expected to grow by an average of 10% or more per year until 2028.”

Based on the expansion of its exports to North America and Europe, LS Eco Energy recorded its largest ever operating profit in the first quarter and is expecting a record annual performance. The company is also strengthening cooperation with LS Cable & System and LS Marine Solution for an expansion of the global submarine cable business.
